JESUS — We believe everything hinges on who Jesus is. The Bible says that Jesus is the exact expression of God’s character (Hebrews 1:1-3), Jesus is the visible image of our invisible God (Colossians 1:15), Jesus is absolutely divine (Philippians 2:6-8) while being fully human (Hebrews 2:17). All this served to make Jesus the perfect sacrifice for our sin (disobedience to God and selfishness towards others). Jesus is the ONLY way to not just heaven (John 14:6), but to live a life right now filled with God’s presence and grace. 

 

THE BIBLE — We believe the Bible is 100% reliable, 100% relatable, 100% inspired by the living God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We also believe that 100% of the Bible is designed to help you get to know Jesus personally. It’s far more than a rule book, instruction manual, or a book of stories. It’s the very words of God designed to help you encounter the living Word of God (John 1). Because of that we defer to Scripture. The Bible is the authority for what we believe and how we live out our beliefs

 

CHURCH — We believe the church is God’s tool to share his loving message with the world (Romans 1). The church is God’s people on God’s mission. It’s God’s family extending the offer of adoption to spiritual orphans. It’s God’s hands and feet designed to represent what it would look like if a people unified under the belief that God is real and rules (2 Corinthians 5)
